Everyday visits
Local shoppers and day visitors come for food, plants, goods and learning. Producers gain a shared destination where their work can be discovered.
A destination works best when people have practical reasons to come, meaningful reasons to stay, and something worth returning for.
Planned market & hospitality · Opening dates not yet set
The market is intended to be useful to the wider community, whether someone stays for an hour, a weekend or a season.
Fresh produce, plants, prepared food, crafts and things made with skill. Workshops that answer a real question. A place to meet the people behind what you bring home.
The public market is planned as an everyday point of connection between PermOasis and the surrounding region. Sweetlife Flora is expected to bring an existing plant-focused business into that future ecosystem, subject to final arrangements.
It could also give founding households an optional route to customers, through market sales, workshops, dining supply and eventual online fulfilment. Those channels would have transparent, separate commercial agreements.

PermOasis-operated cabins and other approved short-term accommodation could bring hospitality income and more time for guests to explore the market and region.
Carefully developed retreats and workshops could combine accommodation, meals, learning and qualified practitioners into an experience with a clear purpose.
Founding households may have remote work, outside employment, independent businesses, creative practices or other income. The community is meant to create additional possibilities, while respecting a household’s private finances and intellectual property.
Internal-first hiring and living-wage work are project intentions for roles that become viable. Qualifications, suitability and actual business needs still matter. Buying into the founding model does not purchase a job.
Shared sales channels would be optional. Any employment, consignment, teaching, supplier or fulfilment relationship would need its own agreement.
Commercial short-term rentals are not permitted on the private founding homesteads under the current model. Guest accommodation would be coordinated through PermOasis hospitality, with privacy, access, operating standards and the wider site in mind.
You do not have to be a founder to be interested in the future market. We welcome early conversations with local producers, food businesses, artisans, workshop leaders and community collaborators.
No vendor pitches, opening date or rental terms are being sold here. The next useful step is an introduction: what you make, what you need and how your work might fit.
