The $95,000 commitment does not include the construction or financing of the household’s private dwelling.
The intended 5% stock equity position remains subject to final legal, tax and shareholder agreements.
Dividends, appreciation, income and financial returns are not guaranteed.
Household-specific utility connections, finished driveways and private improvements are not included unless expressly stated in writing.
Founding Homesteads are intended as private residences and bases for compatible household enterprises.
Founding households will not operate independent short-term-rental businesses from their private parcels. Guest accommodations will remain part of the coordinated PermOasis hospitality system.
The property and wider destination will continue developing in phases around the founding households.
PermOasis Retreat will be evaluating whether your household could strengthen the founding group.

What We Are Not Looking For
A Note on Welcome and Boundaries
PermOasis Retreat welcomes applications from individuals, couples, families, and households across race, ethnicity, religion, creed, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, language, national origin, relationship status, disability, and background.
That welcome does not mean every person will be the right fit for the founding stage.
It means difference itself is not a disqualifier.
Bigotry, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination are not compatible with the values of PermOasis Retreat.
A founding household does not need to match everyone else.
It does need to be capable of living beside difference with respect, maturity, and clear boundaries.
The Review Process
Step One: Initial Inquiry
The initial inquiry opens the conversation.
It asks who you are, where you are located, what drew you to PermOasis Retreat and how seriously you are considering the opportunity.
This is not a formal application.
There is no fee and no expectation that your household has already decided to proceed.
Step Two: Review the Complete Information Package
Your household receives and reviews the Founding Five Information Package before formal application or payment.
The package explains:
What the $95,000 Founding Homestead Commitment is intended to include.
How the private land and wider property are expected to be structured.
The intended 5% stock equity position.
Financial safeguards and lawyer-directed funding.
Governance and decision-making.
Household rights and responsibilities.
Private-use restrictions.
The development sequence.
Proposed transfer, withdrawal and exit processes.
Every participating adult should read the package and understand that it is informational rather than a substitute for independent legal, tax or financial advice.
Step Three: Questions and Household Self-Assessment
This is the time to slow down.
Raise uncertainties.
Identify concerns.
Compare expectations within your household.
Ask whether the opportunity still fits the life you actually want after the practical details have been understood.
Some questions can be answered immediately.
Others may depend on the final property, due diligence, professional advice or legal documents that have not yet been completed.
Formal review should begin only after your household has had a reasonable opportunity to understand the current offer and ask its initial questions.
Step Four: Complete the Formal Application
The application asks about your household, motivations, skills, financial readiness, lifestyle, boundaries, concerns and the role you imagine playing within PermOasis Retreat.
Answer honestly.
A polished answer is less valuable than a real one.
The application is expected to confirm that every participating adult has reviewed the current Founding Five Information Package.
Step Five: Submit the Founding Review Deposit and Begin Formal Review
A $250 CAD Founding Review Deposit begins the formal assessment process.
Once formal review begins, the deposit is non-refundable because it is used during the review itself, whether the household is ultimately accepted or declined.
The deposit:
Does not reserve a homestead.
Does not guarantee acceptance.
Does not create a property or shareholder interest.
Does not place an applicant ahead of another household.
Does not purchase favourable treatment.
Formal review may include:
Review of the household application.
Follow-up questions.
One or more Founder Conversations.
Discussion of finances, timelines and dwelling plans.
Assessment of expectations, boundaries and potential fit.
Consideration of the composition of the complete Founding Five group.
Founder Conversations are not job interviews.
They are practical discussions intended to help both sides decide whether continuing makes sense.
Step Six: Conditional Selection and Due Diligence
A potential founding position may be offered only when both the household and PermOasis Retreat believe there is a strong basis to continue.
Selection remains conditional on:
The final property.
Successful due diligence.
The completed legal and corporate structure.
Required approvals.
Final disclosures and agreements.
Financial readiness.
The successful structure of the Founding Homestead transaction.
Applicants moving forward may receive property-specific information, budgets, surveys, reports, draft agreements and other due-diligence materials as they become available.
The household should obtain independent legal, tax, financial and other professional advice before entering the binding transaction.
Step Seven: Lawyer-Directed Funding and Closing
The $95,000 CAD Founding Homestead Commitment is never paid through this website.
If a household is accepted and proceeds, the $250 Founding Review Deposit is credited toward the total commitment.
The remaining amount is therefore $94,750.
That amount will be handled through the transaction lawyer under the final written agreements, trust conditions and closing instructions.
The funds are intended to remain protected until the agreed legal conditions are satisfied.
They are released only through the successful closing process and are intended to be returned if the founding transaction does not successfully close, subject to the final written trust terms.
About The $250 Founding Review Deposit
The $250 CAD Founding Review Deposit begins the formal household assessment.
It becomes payable only after the household has had an opportunity to review the Founding Five Information Package and has submitted the formal application.
Once formal review begins, the deposit is non-refundable because it is used during the assessment process, whether the application results in acceptance or decline.
The deposit supports work such as:
Reviewing the household application.
Preparing and conducting Founder Conversations.
Answering detailed applicant questions.
Evaluating expectations, readiness and potential alignment.
Considering the composition of the complete founding group.
Coordinating the next stages of review and documentation.
The deposit does not purchase acceptance, priority, preferential treatment, land, shares or a reservation.
If the household is accepted and proceeds to the formal transaction, the full $250 is credited toward the $95,000 Founding Homestead Commitment.
The remaining $94,750 will then be handled separately through the transaction lawyer under the final written agreements.
The $250 review deposit and the $94,750 legal funding serve different purposes.
The review deposit is spent during household assessment.
The remaining legal funding is intended to remain protected through the lawyer-directed transaction and to be returned if the founding transaction does not successfully close, subject to the final trust terms.
